TYPING SERVICES
We provide a typing service for those who can't afford legal representation. We convert handwritten or typewritten documents into a computerized format that meets court rules. Presentation is crucial to convince the reader (judge or staff) of the document's importance. Since it's rare to have computerized documents in prison, we offer typing services for legible handwritten/typewritten documents. Prices: $250 for up to 50 pages, $25 for every additional 10 pages.
If hired, we transcribe without altering content. Contact us by writing, calling, or through a friend/family. Provide the page count, and we'll quote a price. Payment and documents received, completion in seven business days. Expedited options: $50 for five days, $75 for three days, $100 for 48 hours. Once converted, we send the document back the same day. For deadlines, ensure we receive documents 21 days before. If time is too short, we can serve the document to the court on your behalf with written authorization.
LEGAL INVESTIGATIONS
NAC understands that many appeals and post-conviction cases need thorough legal investigations, involving actions like obtaining evidence through Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Requests, issuing subpoenas, conducting background checks, and locating/interviewing witnesses. However, being in prison limits your ability to perform these tasks independently. To help those in such situations, NAC provides legal investigation services for specific fees:
1. $250.00 for submitting a FOIA request (additional costs may apply if the entity charges more than $50.00).
2. $500.00 for preparing a subpoena.
3. $250.00 per person for a background check.
4. $1,000.00 for locating and interviewing each witness (price may vary based on complexity).
To request a FOIA-based investigation, specify the information and government agency. For a subpoena, specify the material and the possessor. Background checks require details like legal name, date of birth, race, gender, and possible location. If you want us to locate and interview a witness, provide their details and specify the topics. Inform us if the witness is expected to cooperate or be hostile.

PRO-BONO PROGRAM
NAC has a program to provide free legal representation for people who can't afford it. If your case is important at the state or national level and you can't pay for a lawyer, they'll contact law firms to take your case for free. Omar, the founder, has successfully enlisted well-known law firms for pro bono work. If you're interested, NAC will evaluate your case, and if it qualifies, they'll try to get a reputable law firm to represent you for free, charging only for the case evaluation. They can't guarantee pro bono representation until after evaluating your case. Just fill out our contact form and label it as a Pro-Bono with your details.
REFERRAL PROGRAM
We value our clients and appreciate referrals. If you refer someone to us, and they hire us for a case evaluation, you'll get $250. There's no limit to how much you can earn – refer four clients, get $1,000. Our referral program is open to both clients and non-clients. Just fill out our contact form and label it as a referral with your details and the person you referred. If your referral hires us, you get $250 sent to your prison account or as a check.
