OUR MISSION

At National Appellate Clinic, we understand that people come to us when they're in need of legal help during one of the toughest times in their lives. We have the experience needed to guide you through the legal system efficiently and effectively. Our team is comprised of dedicated people with a deep understanding of the law and how to fight for justice. We have a history of providing quality representation to clients, and we are confident in our ability to help you.

Infinity Service Plan

NAC offers a unique "Infinity Plan" where, unlike traditional attorneys who charge hourly rates and additional fees for each stage of legal processes, they charge a one-time flat fee. This fee covers their representation or advocacy for you in both state and federal courts until all legal remedies are exhausted. This approach not only saves money but ensures professional legal support throughout the entire legal process.

For example, if hired for a direct appeal in state court, NAC will raise the necessary issues in state appellate and supreme courts. If needed, they'll continue to federal courts, handling all stages. The "Infinity Plan" guarantees that all state and federal remedies will be pursued for a single upfront payment.

The accomplishments highlight a successful case where NAC's founder, Omar, revived a murder conviction and sentence, demonstrating their expertise and dedication in navigating complex legal situations.

The Press

Omar Pouncy spent 10 years, 5 months, and 14 days in prison for a crime he claimed he didn't commit. He was convicted at 18 and had to represent himself because the judge wouldn't let him hire a lawyer. Despite the hardship, he used his time in prison to study law and prove his innocence.

After finding an attorney who believed in him, they prepared an appeal, and a federal judge recently ruled that Pouncy's rights were violated during his initial trial. He was released on a $10,000 bond with strict conditions, including wearing a tether and travel restrictions. The judge also mandated that Pouncy be employed at his attorney's law firm.

Within 48 hours of his release, Pouncy has an office at the law firm and is eager to attend law school, determined not to waste any more time.

Case Evaluations

We always start by evaluating your case before offering any services. This evaluation ensures that you're not charged more than necessary. Unlike some attorneys who may quote a price without understanding your case, our approach involves thoroughly examining all the details first.

During the evaluation, we review all relevant documents related to your case, such as court pleadings, police reports, transcripts, and more. The goal is to identify any legal violations that could help reverse your conviction or sentence. The case evaluation has a fee, which varies based on the type and duration of your case.

Payments can be made through various methods, and once the case evaluation fee is settled, we start working on your case immediately. You're responsible for providing us with your complete case file, and if you don't have it, we'll assist in obtaining it, with any associated costs being your responsibility.

In summary, our transparent and thorough case evaluation process ensures fair pricing, and the fee paid upfront is credited toward your final retainer, making legal assistance more accessible to you.
